Wedding Game

Description

Young children having fun as the Wedding Party celebrates.  The little bridesmaid dressed in pink carrying a tiny bouquet of flowers walks in front of the happy couple, her cat looking for refuge underneath her dress. The Bride, very elegant in her ruffle dress decorated with colored roses, her fine lace veil is carrying a basket full of roses. The Groom’s coat with its hand painted floral design and lace dickie bow shows off the beauty of this imaginary wedding. Walking behind the Happy Couple are their friends. The boy happily throws his hat in the air, while his partner shows off her small bunch of roses. Another friend is waving her hanky to the crowd, while minding her little sister and making sure that her dog does not ruin the dresses in his excitement of being part of this great spectacle.

All the girls dresses and the dickie bows are made from cotton-net lace, dipped in a specially prepared porcelain clay and fired at a temperature of 1290°C. The cotton net lace burns away leaving its pattern in the porcelain. Our highly trained artists paint the faces, hair and individually hand paint all designs on the coats and dresses. 8 carat gold is hand painted in fine lines on the base and decorates some of the boy’s coats. Before the last fire our “MV Irish Dresden” trademark is applied to the base  It is an ideal Wedding Gift and some of our customers have placed this piece atop their Wedding Cake.
